Lawyers Zhang Shanhua and Lan Caiming were selected as the new "Register of Arbitrators" of the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court.
Recently, the tenth meeting of the third council of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) deliberated and approved, and issued the "Announcement of the Council of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration on the New List of Arbitrators". Lawyer Zhang Shanhua, director of the Management Committee of Zhiheng Headquarters, and lawyer Lan Caiming, former director of the Maritime Management Committee of Zhiheng, were recognized by the judges of the Council of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration with their arbitration concept of "resolving conflicts on a fair basis" and years of accumulated experience as lawyers. They were successfully selected and became arbitrators of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.
As a well-known domestic arbitration institution with an international reputation, SSC has strict selection criteria for arbitrators. The new "Register of Arbitrators" to be officially launched on February 21, 2025 will include a total of 2,078 professionals, and its arbitrators will select 1,353 Chinese mainland arbitrators, 188 Hong Kong Special Administrative Region arbitrators, 27 Macao Special Administrative Region arbitrators, 22 Taiwan region arbitrators, and 488 foreign arbitrators, covering 1
29countries and regions.
The register is not only applicable to arbitration cases agreed upon by SCIA, but also to arbitration cases by institutions such as "Kashgar Branch of Shenzhen International Arbitration Court", "Jiangmen Center of Shenzhen International Arbitration Court" and "Jiangmen Arbitration Commission". In addition, the selected arbitrators will also be included in the list of recommended arbitrators of the South China (Hong Kong) International Court of Arbitration (SCIAHK), and can handle arbitration cases agreed upon by the "South China (Hong Kong) International Court of Arbitration".
