The seminar was organized by the Fourth Civil Division of the Supreme People's Court, the Sixth Circuit Court, and the Second International Commercial Court, and organized by the "Belt and Road Initiative" International Commercial Legal Service Demonstration Zone, the Xi'an Intermediate People's Court, the Xi'an Municipal Judicial Bureau, and the Xi'an International Port District Management Committee. The purpose of this seminar is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, promote the organic connection of various legal services of the Supreme People's Court's "one-stop" International Commercial Dispute Resolution Platform, and promote the scientific planning and development of the "Belt and Road Initiative" International Commercial Legal Service Demonstration Zone in Xi'an.

The establishment of a "one-stop" international commercial dispute resolution platform, the establishment of a "one-stop" international commercial dispute resolution mechanism, and the construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative" international commercial legal service demonstration zone are the Supreme People's Court's efforts to provide effective and sufficient judicial protection for the high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative" and comprehensive institutional opening up to the outside world. It is also the practical participation of legal personnel in more active and in-depth integration and service co-construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative".

Lawyer Xie Yan said that through this discussion and exchange, all parties' understanding and thinking on the construction of a "one-stop" international commercial dispute resolution platform and the development of the "Belt and Road Initiative" international commercial legal service demonstration area have provided a good soil for the resolution of foreign-related commercial disputes in practice. It is expected that various mechanisms of international commercial disputes will be more perfect, and international commercial disputes will be better resolved, so as to contribute to the construction of the rule of law of the Belt and Road Initiative.
