The Secretary Lectures on Party Lessons - A Movie Viewing Event to Commemorate the 77th Anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Japanese War
At 3:00 p.m. on September 15, 2022, the “Party Secretary Delivers a Party Lesson—Film Screening Event Commemorating the 77th Anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression” was held in the large conference room of
, on the 22nd floor of the Radio and Television Financial Center. This event was hosted by Luo Shanshan from the Human Resources Department.

On February 27, 2014, the Seventh Session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People’s Congress adopted by vote the Decision of the NPC Standing Committee on Establishing the Memorial Day for the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, designating September 3 each year as the Memorial Day for the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. At this significant historical juncture,
organized its Party members and staff to watch a film as part of their study activities and to carry out Party-building events, paying tribute to the pioneers, honoring their indomitable struggle, and remembering the great victory.

At the outset of the event, Chai Yongxia, Secretary of the Party Branch of
, led all party members in studying the “Outline for Studying Xi Jinping’s Thought on the Rule of Law.” Secretary Chai emphasized: We must uphold Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guiding principle and thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on the Rule of Law.
Uphold the leadership of the Party, put the people at the center, serve high-quality economic and social development, and adhere to the principles governing law enforcement and judicial work. As Party-member lawyers, we must earnestly implement the spirit and requirements of the Party and the government regarding the building of the legal system, and strive to be leaders in respecting and upholding the law as well as guardians of the rule of law.

Subsequently, Luo Shanshan organized and led the party members and members of the public in attendance to watch the film “The Iron-Blooded Jiang Bridge” together. This film faithfully recreates the entire process of how Ma Zhanshan, a patriotic general of the Northeast Army, led Chinese troops to fire the “first shot” of the War of Resistance at the Nenjiang Bridge in 1931. Ma Zhanshan’s spirit of great sacrifice—“to defend the nation’s dignity and the people’s honor”—and his courageous feat of rising up to resist and inflicting heavy blows on the invading enemy, greatly inspired the Chinese people’s patriotic fervor and propelled the anti-Japanese movement to its peak.
