Hi everyone, I'm Yao Haisong. I'm often asked, what is the profession of a lawyer? For me, it is a bridge - connecting facts with the law, and connecting individuals with justice. "Knowledge" is the accumulation of time over time, and "constancy" is the hard work of day after day. These two words are the answers I have answered along the way.
The best state of a lawyer, I think, is three: first, professional - professional must be diligent, stand up to the gaze of peers, and be trustworthy of the outside world; second, contribution - everything you do, not only for the client's mandate, but also to leave a little clear mark in the long river of the rule of law; third, ideal - always have faith in the future of the rule of law, and be willing to lean forward for it.
