In Qu Yuan's "Li Sao", there are "Hu Jiangli and Pi Zhi Xi, sewing Qiu Lan for wear". "Pi Zhi" and "Qiu Lan" are both vanilla, which shows that there has been a habit of wearing sachets since the Warring States Period.
The sachet is filled with moxa velvet, lavender, Chinese herbal medicine, etc. It is said to exorcise evil spirits and avoid epidemics, and it is said to pray for peace.
"Among the many flowers in the world, only the needle and thread are moving." The skilled lawyers put the Dragon Boat Festival blessing into the sachet with fine needles and threads. In the process of making the sachet, the lawyers experienced the charm of traditional handicrafts and deepened their understanding of the cultural connotation of the Dragon Boat Festival.
