On February 21, 2024, Mr. Zhou Kunping, former head of the Strategic Development Research Department (senior expert) at the Head Office of the Bank of Communications, paid a visit to Zhiheng (Shanghai) Law Firm for an inspection and research tour.
Jin Dan, Executive Director of Zhiheng (Shanghai) Law Firm, and intern lawyer Zhang Daozhong first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Zhou Kunping on his visit for inspection and research, and then provided a brief overview of the firm’s size, operational status, financial performance, future development plans, as well as the challenges and opportunities it currently faces.
During the inspection and research visit, Mr. Zhou Kunping carefully listened to a briefing on the firm’s development and operations, with a particular focus on the firm’s office premises. In the office area, he carefully observed the law firm’s working environment while learning about its practice areas and financial performance, and periodically inquired about the challenges and opportunities the firm currently faces in team building and day-to-day operations.
Subsequently, both parties engaged in a business discussion in the conference room. Mr. Zhou Kunping has offered many valuable suggestions, which I have humbly accepted and am striving to implement. We will strive to develop services that are more customer-centric, warmer, and more human-centered. Jin Dan, the managing director of the law firm, reported on the firm’s phased achievements and provided a detailed overview of its development milestones. Mr. Zhou Kunping expressed strong appreciation for the progress and achievements I have made, conducted an in-depth analysis of the legal market landscape and its future development trends, and underscored the strategic significance of establishing a high-quality law firm strategic cooperation center within a short timeframe. He also expressed his hope that Bank of Communications and our firm will further strengthen communication and collaboration to achieve mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes.
Following the inspection and research visit, Mr. Zhou Kunping, former head of the Strategic Development Research Department of the Bank of Communications Head Office, stated that our firm, as a key investment‑attraction project at both the municipal and district levels, embodies great future potential. He emphasized that the firm should further expand its scope of practice, enhance its operational management and risk‑resilience capabilities, focus on service quality, and promptly achieve comprehensive business development to ensure high‑quality, sustainable growth.
