Zhiheng News | The fourth director team work meeting of Zhiheng National Criminal Professional Committee was successfully held

On July 31, 2026, the fourth director team meeting of Zhiheng National Criminal Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Criminal Special Committee") was successfully held in the party building conference room of Zhiheng (Guiyang) Law Firm. The meeting was chaired by Secretary-General Guo Liang. It was on the first anniversary of the establishment of the "Criminal Special Committee". The meeting comprehensively reviewed the results of the phased work, commended advanced models, enriched the organizational structure, and determined the annual major event arrangements, so as to clarify the direction and build consensus for the next stage of professional construction of the Criminal Special Committee.

In order to recognize the advanced, set an example, and encourage all members to improve their professionalism and perform their duties, the meeting held a grand annual commendation work on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of the Criminal Special Committee. This commendation set up five honorary awards: Meritorious Person Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, Special Contribution Award, and Excellent Committee Member. The outstanding colleagues who have long been deeply involved in the field of criminal debate, actively participated in the construction of the committee, actively promoted national professional exchanges, and performed their duties well will be commended and affirmed.

In order to further strengthen the work force of the secretariat, improve the organizational system of the committee, and ensure the efficient and orderly progress of the national criminal defense professional work, the meeting decided to appoint a number of outstanding backbone members as deputy secretary-general of the criminal special committee, enrich the core work team of the secretariat, and assist the normal and professional operation of the committee.

The meeting made it clear that the Fifth National Criminal Forum will be hosted by Zhiheng Jinan Branch, and the relevant handover work will be finalized at the meeting site. The follow-up will promote the preparation of the forum in an orderly manner, and continue to build a national platform for professional exchanges in criminal defense.

At the end of the meeting, Director Zhang Nannan made a concluding speech. Director Zhang Nannan comprehensively reviewed the construction achievements and development process of the Criminal Special Committee since its establishment, and fully affirmed the hard work and outstanding results of all members in professional co-construction, practical discussions, and team building. She pointed out that in the future, the Criminal Special Committee will continue to focus on the deepening of criminal specialization, strengthen the linkage and cooperation of all branches across the country, conduct professional exchanges and seminars on a regular basis, and continue to consolidate the professional strength of criminal defense and promote the high-quality development of criminal legal services in Zhiheng.
