Zhiheng Public Welfare | Zhiheng in Lianhuabei Community People's Mediation Studio's First Phase Work Summary Luncheon was successfully held
On the afternoon of September 6, 2024, the first interim work summary luncheon for the Zhiheng People’s Mediation Studio stationed in Lianhua North Community was successfully held. Liu Hong, Deputy Director of the Zhiheng Headquarters Management Committee; Chai Yongxia, Executive Director of the Zhiheng Headquarters; Liu Yanhua, Member of the Zhiheng Headquarters Management Committee and Director of the Public Welfare Committee; as well as the two on-duty lawyers from the Zhiheng People’s Mediation Studio stationed in Lianhua North Community, all participated in the luncheon.

As of September 6, they have participated in over 90 duty sessions, providing on-site consultations and answering questions, actively engaging in community dispute mediation, and conducting specialized lectures for residents, thereby serving the local community.

To further refine the working mechanisms of the mediation office and enhance its operational effectiveness, the Management Committee of
has decided that, starting this week, a group-based midday lunch meeting will be held every Friday to summarize the progress made in the current phase. During these meetings, we will both gather insights, reflections, and constructive suggestions from the lawyers serving on the pro bono legal service team, and solicit their views on the future development of this initiative.
At the inaugural lunch meeting, two team members participated. Everyone engaged in an open and candid discussion, covering a total of 14 topics, including the on-duty mechanism, requirements for duty logs, the scope of consultation services during duty hours, promotion of the mediation room, additional follow-up pro bono services, and leveraging pro bono work to enhance the firm’s brand image.
Director Liu Hong and Director Liu Yanhua listened carefully to everyone’s remarks and collected their suggestions. Moving forward, they will actively consult with higher-level authorities, including the community and the subdistrict office, to work together in making this project even more effective.

Zhiheng has joined forces with Lianhua Subdistrict to carry out joint learning and collaborative development. Since the People’s Mediation Studio in Lianhua North Community began its on-duty services, it has provided legal consultation to residents of Lianhua Subdistrict and conducted public awareness campaigns on the rule of law, thereby contributing professional expertise to building a “Rule-of-Law Lianhua” and fostering a harmonious community.
