From October 16 to 18, 2025, the event—jointly guided by the All-China Lawyers Association and the Belt and Road Legal Services Alliance, and hosted by the Hainan Provincial Lawyers Association—will be held.2025 Hainan Free Trade Port Legal WeekIt was successfully held in Haikou. This year's Legal Week is themed"A Law-Based Free Trade Port: Sharing New OpportunitiesUnder the theme, the event focused on key issues such as the closed‑loop operation of the free trade port and the development of a legal framework for foreign-related affairs, featuring 16 thematic forums and facilitating the signing of several significant cooperation agreements.

At the opening ceremony, Governor Liu Xiaoming attended and delivered a speech. Vice Minister of Justice Wu Zeng, representatives from the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport, the Department of Justice of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China University of Political Science and Law, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the All China Lawyers Association, and the Belt and Road Legal Services Alliance, among others, each delivered remarks. Secretary-General of the Provincial Government Fu Xuanchao also attended the opening ceremony.

This event brought together over 700 legal experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from 14 countries and regions worldwide, showcasing Hainan’s open stance and development potential in the legal services sector through high-level international dialogue and exchanges.

On the high-level exchange platform established during this year’s Legal Week, Attorney Gu Xiaocheng, Executive Director of Zhiheng International Center and Zhiheng Hong Kong; Attorney Lan Caiming, Director of the Shenzhen Law Society, Director of Zhiheng China, and Director of the Qianhai Management Committee of Zhiheng; and Attorney Wang Wei, Deputy Director of the Compliance Committee of the Hainan Provincial Lawyers Association and Deputy Director of Zhiheng Haikou Customs and Smuggling Crimes Legal Affairs Department, were invited to serve as key speakers. Representatives from judicial administrative organs across the province, guest representatives attending Legal Week, representatives from co-organizing and supporting units, and lawyer representatives from across the province attended the closing ceremony.
