During the case presentation session, host Attorney Mu Qing first introduced Case of a difficult and complex case , the case study was then analyzed and presented, primarily following the litigation process: the facts ascertained in the first instance, the court’s reasoning in the first-instance judgment, the outcome of the first-instance judgment, the defense arguments in the second instance, the outcome of the second-instance judgment, and the subsequent reversal of the original judgment with remand for retrial.

During the discussion session, the members of the Gold Panel engaged in a lively exchange of views on challenging cases and the central theme. The committee members, drawing on the cases they have handled, discussed the case studies from Case classification, evidence analysis, expert opinions, and legal application and other aspects have been addressed from various defensive perspectives and viewpoints.

Finally, Zhang Xuezheng, a supervisor of the Performance Evaluation Committee of the Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association’s Supervisory Board, delivered his supervisory comments and expressed his approval of the topic selected for this seminar.The entire seminar was held in a lively atmosphere, and the audience members all expressed that they wished it could have gone on longer.
