Secondly, Director Li used the “metaverse” as a backdrop and virtual property as an example to present to the audience cutting-edge legal issues in the digital economy. He also highlighted the emerging challenges and difficulties in intellectual property protection for digital technologies, and discussed the intellectual property rights arising from AI-generated creations.

Furthermore, Director Li extended his analysis from legal services in the digital economy to the broader legal services market, noting that demand in this market is growing robustly. “Just as the digital economy is set to replace many traditional economic sectors, digital‑economy‑related legal services will supplant conventional legal practice, emerging as a new and highly promising field with the fastest growth potential.”

Attorney Li Weixiang also shared strategies for expanding the legal services market in the digital economy from multiple perspectives, such as innovating legal service products and developing relevant training courses.

Finally, Director Li Weixiang elaborated on his vision for establishing the “Digital Economy Law Center” at
