Hello everyone! It is a great pleasure to gather with you at Zhiheng (Dalian) Law Firm to start this Dalian Arbitration Weekly Sub-Forum with the theme of "Lawyers' Work Practice from the Perspective of Judges and Arbitrators". First of all, on behalf of Dalian International Arbitration Court, I would like to extend my warm congratulations on the convening of today's sub-forum and a warm welcome to all my colleagues.

The positive interaction and coordinated development of the legal professional community is the core driving force for the continuous progress of the rule of law. Although judges, arbitrators and lawyers have different focuses on the division of functions, their common goal is to protect the legitimate rights and interests of parties and achieve fairness and justice through professional and efficient legal services.

Lawyers, as important participants in judicial and arbitration proceedings, have a direct impact on the quality and efficiency of case handling. Judges and arbitrators, as referees, have the most direct perspective on lawyers' professional performance in litigation and arbitration. We look forward to deepening the systematic discussion of lawyers' practice from the perspective of multiple subjects through this forum, promoting the optimization and improvement of lawyers' professional ability, and helping to improve and improve the diversified dispute resolution mechanism.

Since the completion of the reform of the system and mechanism in 2021, the Dalian International Arbitration Court has always adhered to the concept of professional and international development, continuously improved the quality and efficiency of arbitration services, and created a multi-level legal service platform including Dalian Arbitration Week, Northeast Enterprise Rule of Law Forum, and Guozhong University Lecture Hall, highlighting our unique social value in improving the ecological construction of the rule of law.

At the same time, the Dalian International Arbitration Court will continue to introduce international advanced rules and practical experience, further enhance the supply capacity of arbitration services, and strive to create an internationally competitive commercial dispute resolution highland. This forum is not only an exchange and collision of professional experience in the legal profession, but also a strong practice of the spirit of the rule of law and fairness and justice.

We look forward to this event to inspire more in-depth thinking on the professional development of lawyers and promote the continuous innovation of industry concepts.
