Announcement | Zhiheng Dongguan Anti-Domestic Violence Open Day - 11.25 International Anti-Domestic Violence Day Public Welfare Action

Every year, November 25 is designated by the United Nations as the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women,” also known as the “International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence.” On March 1, 2016, China’s Anti-Domestic Violence Law officially came into effect. The Civil Code, implemented in 2021, also explicitly incorporates the prohibition of domestic violence as a mandatory provision governing marriage and family relationships.

On November 25, 2025, the Women’s Committee of Guangdong Zhiheng (Dongguan) Law Firm will host an Open Day on domestic violence prevention, themed “Break the Silence—Legal Protection.” At the event, a 1-on-1 legal consultation area will be set up, where professional on-duty lawyers will provide personalized advice and address your questions.
