Special Promotion Event

Precisely addressing the legal pain points of enterprises “going global”

On the afternoon of October 31, the Guangdong Lawyers Association and the Guangdong Center for Promoting the Rule of Law in Foreign-related Affairs jointly held a promotional event for cross-border consortium-based legal service products at the China International Fair for Trade in Services. As a flagship roadshow event of this year’s CIFTIS, the promotion session has transformed the high-quality outcomes of the earlier “Greater Bay Area Cross-Border Group Legal Services Product Competition” into practical legal solutions that businesses can immediately deploy.

Lawyer Luo Zhikai of Zhiheng (Dongguan) introduces his award-winning legal product.

At the promotion event, Attorney Luo Zhikai of Zhiheng (Dongguan) presented the legal service product jointly developed by the Dongguan branch, the Zhiheng headquarters, and Zhiheng Hong Kong, titled “Mutual Recognition and Enforcement of Civil and Commercial Judgments Between the Mainland and Hong Kong.” Meanwhile, Senior Partner Qi Jiezhen of the Zhiheng headquarters introduced the legal service product jointly created by the Zhiheng headquarters, Zhiheng Dongguan, and Zhiheng Hong Kong, entitled “Legal Services for Mainland E‑commerce Enterprises Operating in Hong Kong.”

Lawyer Qi Jiezhen from Zhiheng Headquarters is recommending their award-winning product.

In addition, eight other international law firms from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao also showcased tailored legal service offerings designed to address the challenges and pain points faced by companies engaged in cross-border operations, covering key areas such as international dispute resolution, foreign-related intellectual property, export controls, and cross-border finance and capital markets. More than 100 corporate and legal representatives attended the event.

This year’s conference features a dedicated thematic exhibition area for Guangdong’s foreign-related legal services, bringing together 17 law firms, international arbitration institutions, commercial mediation organizations, and notary offices specializing in foreign-related matters within the province to provide comprehensive legal support for enterprises engaged in cross-border operations. Also participating in the event that day were Jiang Junxi and Li Yingjun, intern lawyers at Zhiheng (Dongguan).
