On the morning of July 26, 2024, the certificate-issuance ceremony for Guangdong Province’s first Sino‑foreign law firm joint venture office—the joint venture office of

To strengthen the ranks of the Foreign-related Lawyers Service Group and promote the high-quality development of foreign-related legal services, the Dongguan Lawyers Association has established specialized sub-groups within the Foreign-related Lawyers Service Group. Following the processes of nomination, eligibility screening, and merit-based selection, our firm’s attorneys Zeng Yuru, Mai Xiaojie, Chen Liuhua, Guo Lijia, Lu Yinghua, Ouyang Yingshan, and Wang Xiaoyin were successfully selected, thereby providing robust support for the further development of Dongguan City in the field of international legal services.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the interview assessment for applicants completing their period of legal practice internship and to enhance the effectiveness and quality of the assessment process, the Dongguan Lawyers Association has decided to appoint 253 lawyers as interview assessors for applicants seeking admission to the bar in our city. Following the application, review, and approval processes, Attorney Chen Jintao of our firm has been appointed as an examiner for the interview assessment of applicants seeking to practice law by the Dongguan Lawyers Association.
Lawyers Mai Xiaojie and Chen Qiqi of
in Dongguan have been appointed as volunteer legal education lecturers at the Chang’an Town 12355 Youth Service Center for a term of two years, dedicated to providing comprehensive, multi‑level legal support to young people and safeguarding their healthy and positive development.
Recently, the Zhiheng Zhuosheng Criminal Law Team handled a case of issuing false invoices and successfully secured a decision not to prosecute for their client. The outcome of the case was highly commended by the client, who presented the team with a banner in gratitude.

On the afternoon of July 29, 2024, the Dongguan Party Branch of Zhiheng convened a general meeting of all party members. During the meeting, applications for the formal admission of probationary party members were reviewed, and activities were organized to study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, injecting new vitality into our firm’s Party branch.

On the afternoon of July 1, 2024, the second High-Level Partner Luncheon Exchange Meeting of Zhiheng Dongguan for 2024 was successfully held. The meeting aimed to provide our firm’s senior partners with a platform for in-depth communication, sharing of experiences, and discussion on the legal industry and the firm’s development, thereby further strengthening internal cohesion and teamwork at Zhiheng Dongguan.

, was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, from July 6 to 7, 2024. Senior equity partners from across Zhiheng’s national offices gathered in Kunming, responding to the invitation to the “City of Spring” and jointly inaugurating this grand event.
On the afternoon of July 12, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the Criminal Law Department of Guangdong Zhiheng (Dongguan) Law Firm was successfully held. Zhao Dan, Director of the Dongguan Steering Committee of
, along with Mai Zhuolin, Director of the Criminal Law Department; Xie Zhongshen, Deputy Director; and Weng Qiping, Assistant to the Executive Director, attended this conference. Subsequently, Director Mak Cheuk-lam delivered a presentation on the topic of “Analysis of Common Criminal Charges in Criminal Cases Handled by Attorneys.”
On the afternoon of July 18, 2024, the specialized training session on “Labor and Personnel Management and Risk Prevention” was successfully held. Attorneys Chen Liuhua and Wang Xiaoyin focus on various employment relationships, probationary-period management, and other practical aspects of labor and personnel administration. Through case analysis and practical guidelines, they offer actionable risk‑mitigation strategies to help companies effectively address the diverse challenges encountered in day-to‑day management.
On the afternoon of July 19, 2024, Xiong Ni, Director of the Land and Construction Law Department at Zhiheng Dongguan, was invited to host a visit and exchange with leaders from the General Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Justice, and other relevant departments at Zhiheng Xi’an Law Firm. The visit was warmly received by Lü Yaxin, Executive Director of Zhiheng Xi’an, Xiao Jun, Chairman of the Management Committee, and other colleagues.
On the afternoon of August 2, 2024, a thematic lecture titled “Key Regulatory Points and Response Strategies for Medical Data Compliance” was successfully held, co-hosted by the Medical, Health, and Healthcare Law Committee and the Information, Network, and Digital Economy Law Committee of the Dongguan Lawyers Association. The event aimed to enhance the professional competence of local lawyers and medical professionals in the field of medical data compliance.
Short-video platforms have become a new channel for the legal profession to acquire clients and enhance brand visibility. On the afternoon of August 15, 2024, the seminar “Sharing by Social Media Influencers: How Lawyers Can Tap into the Market Through Short Videos” was successfully held. Our firm specially invited short-video influencer Da Hong and Magazine’s chief strategist Da Su to deliver presentations.
On the afternoon of August 20, 2024, the third High-Level Partner Luncheon Exchange Meeting of Zhiheng Dongguan for 2024 was successfully held in the main conference room, providing our firm’s senior partners with a platform to strengthen internal communication, foster team collaboration, and jointly plan for future development, thereby further enhancing the cohesion and unity within Zhiheng Dongguan.
On the afternoon of August 23, 2024, the “Short Video Expert Sharing – Filming and Editing Open Class” was successfully held in the main conference room of Zhiheng’s Dongguan office. Our firm specially invited Hong Tao, a photographer for National Geographic Magazine and a member of the Magazine Lawyers’ Ammo Team, to share his expertise.
On August 22, Hengli Town convened the 2024 Meeting of the Comprehensive Law-Based Governance Committee, earnestly implementing the relevant arrangements for law-based governance work in the town. Ye Xiaohuai, Secretary of the Hengli Town Party Committee, He Riliang, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Town Mayor, along with other members of the town’s leading team, attended the meeting. Attorney Xiong Ni from our firm was invited to attend this conference and delivered a special lecture on the rule of law under the “Dongguan City Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment.”

On August 30, 2024, the “Fourth Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Corporate Legal Services Forum” was successfully held at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center, with the aim of strengthening exchanges and cooperation within the legal services industry in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. Zhao Dan, Director of the Dongguan Steering Committee of Zhiheng, along with attorneys Lü Meng and Deng Nokun, attended the forum by invitation.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival arrives and we share this beautiful moment together, our office has hosted the “Moonlit Reunion, Heartfelt Celebrations — Zhicheng Dongguan Newcomer Welcome & Q3 Birthday Party.” This event was a joyous occasion for Zhicheng Dongguan colleagues to strengthen bonds and for new and returning members to come together as one.

International Exchange | Zhiheng Dongguan’s Foreign-Related Lawyers Visit Japan for Exchange
Under the overall coordination of Attorney Yang Yang, Deputy Head of the Dongguan Foreign-related Lawyers Service Group, our firm’s colleagues Zeng Yuru, Chen Liuhua, Deng Nokun, and others conducted a 10-day international exchange program in Japan. This event aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with leading international law firms, thereby providing Dongguan-based enterprises with more professional and efficient legal services as they expand overseas.
On the afternoon of July 9, 2024, Attorney Zeng Yuru from our firm delivered a lecture at Guizhou Qixiang Law Firm on the topic “How Young Lawyers Can Excel in Cross-Border Legal Services—Taking the Case of Supporting Chinese Enterprises’ Expansion into Vietnam,” with the aim of enhancing lawyers’ professional competence, broadening their international perspective, and fostering greater exchange and cooperation.

On August 7, 2024, Zeng Yuru, Senior Equity Partner at Zhiheng Dongguan and a rising star in Guangdong’s international legal talent pool, together with her team member, Attorney Deng Nokun, were invited to attend and deliver a presentation at a specialized seminar on “International Legal Services” hosted by Guangdong Dusheng Law Firm. On the evening of August 23, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Attorney Chen Liu Hua from our firm was invited to participate in the “Rule of Law Frontline” program on Dongguan Radio, where he shared a mediation case and his insights on mediation, presenting to the audience a mediation case involving a dispute over an international sales contract for goods.

On the afternoon of September 18, 2024, the seminar titled “Legal Compliance for Investing in Southeast Asia: Comprehensive Strategies and Practical Analysis” was successfully held at Zhiheng (Foshan) Law Firm. This event has specially invited our firm’s attorneys Zeng Yuru, Lü Meng, and Li Tian to deliver keynote presentations. From September 25 to 26, 2024, Zhiheng Dongguan, at the invitation of the Indonesian Directorate General of Sea Transportation, traveled to Beijing to attend a series of China-Indonesia maritime cooperation meetings hosted by the Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China, the Embassy of Indonesia in China, and the China Classification Society. This meeting is a significant government-level event between the two countries, aimed at deepening China–Indonesia cooperation in the maritime sector.
To strengthen Guangdong Province’s efforts in cultivating and building a pool of legal professionals specializing in ASEAN-related law, the 23rd Guangdong Provincial Training Program for Foreign-Related Lawyers—Special Session on Investment and Trade Law in ASEAN Countries① commenced in Chongqing on the afternoon of September 20, 2024.
