From 1988 to 2008, he worked in education in Yangjiang City. After passing the national judicial examination in 2008, he resigned to work as a full-time lawyer. He has worked in Guangdong Zhongjunfa Law Firm, Guangdong Zhenzhi Law Firm, Guangdong Zhongdang Law Firm, Guangdong Yuehong Law Firm, Guangdong Zhongyu Law Firm, and Guangdong Datong Law Firm. In January 2024, he changed his practice from Guangdong Datong Law Firm to Guangdong Zhiheng (Guangzhou) Law Firm.

In 2008, the Guangdong Power Grid Yangjiang Power Supply Bureau and the victim Yang Yongqun applied for a retrial of the electric burn case. The provincial procuratorate supported the protest, and the retrial was revised, from no profit compensation to more than 480000 yuan.

In 2011, Feng Guilu applied for a retrial to obtain payment in the construction contract dispute case, and the judgment was revised to reduce the amount of the project payment by half.

During this period, he co-organized with lawyer Xu Yansong of Guangdong Legal Sheng Gang the bribery case of the Secretary General of Yangjiang City Court under the influence, the first representative case of Yangjiang's anti-crime and anti-evil in the contract with lawyer Zhongzhaoshu of Yingke at that time, and co-organized the anti-crime case in Mashan, Guangxi, and the anti-crime case in Yu Guobiao, Wuhan, etc., accumulating rich experience in handling cases.
